Meet Our Cosmic Cubes ✨
These have been quietly in development since 2024, and honestly… it challenged me more than almost any product we’ve created.
When I started Maison Rue, I made a promise to myself that every product would meet a few non-negotiables:
— Safe for children
— Beautiful enough to live in our homes
— Durable enough to last for years of play
As a small-batch toy brand, that often means taking the harder path.
What many people don’t realize is that not all glitters, pigments, plastics, or acrylics are suitable for children’s toys, and safety testing is incredibly important to us.
Throughout this process we tested countless samples while sourcing child-safe materials and glitters that could be fully encapsulated within the cubes without compromising clarity, durability, or safety standards.
Our Cosmic Cubes are tested to meet U.S. and European toy safety requirements, including ASTM F963, CPSIA, EN71 and CE standards.
The result - Beautiful toys that spark imagination and can be treasured for years to come.
